Meet John — our Chef, Owner, and the heart behind the vision.

With over 20 years of restaurant experience, much of it right here in Vermont, John has spent his career learning the ins and outs of different styles of service, from elevated dining to fast-paced kitchens. What matters most to him? Creating food that’s full of flavor, approachable, and meant to be shared.

Originally from New Jersey and Connecticut, John has come to truly appreciate the slower pace of life Vermont offers. Hospitality runs deep in his family, and that sense of care and connection is something he’s passionate about bringing into this space.

More than anything, we’re building a place where people can gather to celebrate, to unwind, and to enjoy really good food with the people they love.

When he’s not in the kitchen, you’ll find John exploring Vermont with his family, tending to his ever-growing garden, or checking out local spots to support fellow businesses (and, of course, enjoy a great meal).
